Since 2012, Mariane Ibrahim has championed underrepresented artists, especially from African regions, with galleries in Chicago, Paris, and Mexico City. 

Ayana V. Jackson, based in Brooklyn and Johannesburg, disrupts 19th-century portraiture, questioning photography's role in perpetuating socially stratified identities. Navigating ethics, her work reimagines colonial images, often casting herself to liberate the Black body and challenge myths around the Black diaspora.

Nigerian-born artist Peter Uka intricately weaves childhood memories into his figurative paintings, merging realism with diverse references, evoking timeless emotion. His globally showcased work explores historical precedents of globalization, emphasizing reciprocity between his two home countries, recognized in collections like the Long Museum.
